Honda Provides Aid to the Indonesia Earthquake Victims

TOKYO, Japan, May 29, 2006 – Honda Motor Co., Ltd. would like to express its deepest sympathy and condolences to the victims of the May 27th earthquake which struck Java, Indonesia.
In response to this tragedy, Honda will provide the following assistance to the affected area:

- Honda’s local operations (3 companies*) will make a cash donation of JPY 30 million (approx. Indonesia Rupiah 24.60 million)

- Asian Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (Bangkok, Thailand) which is responsible for Honda’s Asia and Oceania regional operations will make a cash donation of JPY 10 million.

- Honda Motor Co., Ltd. will make a cash donation of JPY 20 million to the Japanese Red Cross Society (JRCS) to be designated for regional relief assistance.
